She wished to make an impact on the nation's future by building a strong foundation for today's children. With this goal in mind, Hema chose the educational sector and founded the Canvas International Pre-School in April 2016.Canvas has made waves in preschool sector by being the 1st ISO Certified Pre- School Chain in India.

She has a knack of designing a curriculum that promotes the joy of learning. She believes that without joy, learning cannot happen. She brings these learner-centric natural learning principles in a modern classroom setting. She has experience in handling education projects from school start-ups to curriculum development and teacher training with more than 15 organizations spanning over 12 years.

Sonia Kumar - Head of Franchisee
Sonia Kumar has her schooling background from MGD Girls School, Jaipur, and has done her Master's in English. She has experience as Teacher, Co-ordinator and Vice Principal (Academics) at reputed schools of Jaipur. She conducts training for the teachers, builds overall concept based curriculum, activities and leads parent - teacher meets. Sonia loves kids and does everything to make their foundation years at Canvas an enjoyable and formative experience.

She is acknowledged as an icon in the field of early childhood education, both nationally and internationally and has authored several books for children and parents. She is the Founder of Born Smart, India's first brain based parent toddler program.

He did masters in economics from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, and while doing Ph.D from Hyderabad Central University he got a job in public sector bank, and from there he moved to the Reserve Bank of India as grade "B" officer. After serving for 4 years in RBI at various places including Bombay he joined IPS in 1988. Served in police for 30 years and now he is posted at police headquarters.
